Dr. Cusumano graduated from the NYU College of Dentistry in 1998 and received his dental education at New York University. He then began his specialty in Oral surgery as a resident fellow in Oral Maxillofacial surgery while at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr Cusumano then completed his training and was certified in Oral Surgery and general anesthesia on Long Island New York at Nassau University Medical Center.

Dr. Cusumano first became interested in moving to North Carolina while visiting friends that had also relocated to North Carolina. It was not long before he realized how unique North Carolina should be the place the attraction to the warm climate, comfortable winters and convince to the beaches that made the Raleigh area his new home. Climate is like climate is like no other.

Where he practiced oral maxillofacial surgery for four years. Dr. Cusumano grew up in a large family in the Southampton area of Eastern Long Island, NY and is the second oldest of five siblings. In his free time Dr. Cusumano is an avid athlete who enjoys scuba diving, skiing, fishing and racquetball. Also interested in community service, he once worked as a volunteer fireman with the Rosalyn Highlands Hook Ladder Fire Engine in NY for two years. Dr. Cusumano’s goal for his practice is “to provide patients with personalized, quality surgical care in a friendly and compassionate atmosphere.”
