Dr. Cusumano received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1998. After completing a General Practice Residency in General Dentistry in NY, he completed an Internship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Nebraska. This program emphasized in Oral Surgery with IV/General Anesthesia outpatient surgery. After completing this year, Dr. Cusumano then completed an additional 4 years of Residency on Long Island, NY and specialized in the practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

During his training, Dr. Cusumano has become experienced in managing a variety of dental facial conditions. As an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, he is skilled with managing removal of teeth, impacted wisdom teeth, IV/General anesthesia, replacement of missing teeth with dental implants, preparing jaws for dentures or denture retained implants, facial trauma, fractured jaws, oral pathology, jaw reconstruction with grafting procedures, and disorders of facial pain and TMJ.

In 2005, utilizing the latest technology, Dr. Cusumano has established this practice that is focused on clinical excellence. The office provides oral surgery patients a comfortable and relaxing environment that utilizes digital radiography to diagnose problematic teeth, wisdom teeth and jaw pathology; IV / General Anesthesia for total patient comfort; soft tissue treatment with the comfort of a diode laser, and a surgical suit for the placement of dental implants to replace missing teeth. Dr. Cusumano's objective for this practice is "to provide patients with personalized, quality surgical care in a friendly and compassionate atmosphere."
